I am an oil painter with Texas college credentials, Texas show and gallery awards, creator & manager of a Texas Fine Arts Festival, as well as a teacher of studio art incorporating art history at local schools and venues.

I stand in awe at the beauty of our creator's world and wish to humbly express the joy I embrace along the pathway of painting each subject out of the darkness into the light.
As a student of the Impressionist movement, I marvel at its global and timeless impact. My medium is oils, with a developed value palette, using complimentary colors to bring dark to light and broken brush strokes for expressive movement.
After more than 20 years professionally painting and being featured artist at several Texas galleries and shows, I honestly can say my career highlight is my next 'acquired' painting! As I'm so very honored when others respond to my work and thru it find a kind of joy or awareness of the beauty that surrounds our everyday lives.
